OUR VISION
"Fresh Start Mentoring Services" is a community based, Non-profit Program, that provides educational services that enhance life and learning skills. Our program focuses on building social and behavior skills that reinforce values of self-esteem and being an effective citizen.
Our mentoring services include grief and loss counseling, crisis intervention, education/academic support, academic achievement of at-risk children with absent parents, academic performance monitoring, social skills, job skills, job placement, strengthening parent/child relationships, reduce crime and the recidivism rate.
Early intervention is the key. Our counselors and mentors work with the prisons and caregivers to make immediate contact with family members to reach this population of at-risk children and set up crisis intervention services and mentoring programs to meet the needs of these at-risk children and families
Our vision is to help build positive self-esteem and to enrich lives through education one person at a time.
